Good afternoon. Today I'm going to tell you about the Spa Mechanical Body Scrub.

Body scrubbing is a treatment designed to cleanse (exfoliate) the epidermal (surface) layer of the skin. Based on the nature of the effect, exfoliation techniques can be divided into 3 groups: mechanical (abrasive), physical (ultrasound, laser), chemical (acids and enzymes).

Depending on the depth of exfoliation, there are also three types of exfoliants: surface exfoliants (at the level of a few layers of squamous cells), medium depth exfoliants (covering the entire stratum corneum), and deep exfoliants (covering the entire epidermis up to the basal and papillary layers of the dermis).

The effect of cosmetic exfoliation is to cleanse the skin surface and pores, activate blood and lymph circulation, promote skin regeneration, optimise skin penetration, and improve the aesthetic condition of the skin.

Mechanical surface exfoliation should be used when keratinization abnormalities are present (dandruff, roughness, goose bumps), when the skin is prone to congestion (closed and open comedones, miliums), however, the treatment is recommended for all skin types, regardless of age.

Contraindications include: skin diseases, very sensitive skin, inflammatory areas of skin rashes, damage to the integrity of the skin, benign and malignant skin tumours, risk of thrombosis and embolism, active herpes, prolonged exposure to the sun, hair removal procedures.

To prepare for this treatment, the following items are needed: heat-reflecting film, disposable slippers, a disposable cap, disposable knickers, 2 sheets, a large towel, a medium towel, oil, salt, essential oil (Figure 1).

Before the client arrives, it is necessary to prepare the workplace by setting up the couch and placing the necessary tools on it (Figure 2). When the client arrives, it is essential to find out about his/her expectations, health problems and contraindications. The client should be given clear instructions and privacy. It is recommended that the client takes a warm shower before lying down on the couch.

First, ask the client to lie on the stomach. To make the client feel more comfortable and warm during the treatment, cover the client with the sheet. Before the treatment begins, uncover the client and give an introductory massage (Figures 3 and 4).

The most common body part to start scrubbing is the legs. Uncover only the part of the body which you will be working on. Always maintain contact with the client when doing anything or picking up something. Scrubbing starts with short movements and ends with long connecting ones (Figures 5 and 6).

Following the legs, move on to the back, neck and shoulder girdle. During the scrubbing treatment, apply the basic surface massage movements: stroking, rubbing (Figures 7 and 8).

During the scrubbing of the back, scrub the shoulders, the underside of the arms and the palms (Figures 9 and 10).

After scrubbing the back, the client is turned over. There are two ways to perform it: by holding the sheet from above and by holding the sheet as a wall between you and the client. After the client has rolled over, place a folded large towel under the client's head (Figures 11 and 12).

Start scrubbing the front surface of the body from the legs, not forgetting the feet (Figures 13 and 14).

Chest exposure should not cause discomfort to the client. Before exposing the abdomen, the chest is covered with a medium towel. The abdomen is scrubbed applying clockwise circular motion (Figures 15 and 16).

Next, scrub the shoulders, the front surfaces of the arms and the hands. Also gently scrub the décolletage, a couple of swipes will do the trick (Figures 17 and 18).

After the scrubbing, make sure to put on disposable slippers on the client‘s feet to help her/him reach the shower safely. Replace the sheet with the towel which the client will use to go to the shower (Figure 19).

At the end of the treatment, gently sit the client down, then escort the client to the shower. After the treatment, ask how the client is feeling. Finally, say goodbye until next time.

Laba diena. Šiandien Jums papasakosiu apie SPA mechaninio paviršinio kūno šveitimo procedūros metodiką.

Kūno šveitimas - tai procedūra skirta epiderniam (paviršiniui) odos sluoksniui valyti (šveisti).

Pagal veikimo pobūdį šveitimo technikas galima skirstyti į 3 grupes: mechanines (abrazyvines), fizines (ultragarsas, lazeris), chemines (rūgštys ir fermentai).

Pagal atsisluoksniavimo gilumą šveitikliai gali būti taip pat trijų rūšių: paviršiniai (kelių suragėjusių ląstelių sluoksnių lygyje), vidutinio gilumo (apima visą raginį sluoksnį), gilieji (apima visą epiderminį iki dermos bazalinio ir papiliarinio sluoksnio).

Kosmetinio šveitimo poveikis pasireiškia tuo, kad jis valo odos paviršių ir odos poras, aktyvina kraujotaką ir limfą, skatina odos regeneraciją, optimizuoja odos laidumą, gerina odos estetinę būklę.

Mechaninio paviršinio kūno šveitimo procedūrą reiktų atlikti, kai pasireiškia keratinizacijos pakitimai (pleiskanojimas, šiurkštumas, “žąsies oda”), oda turi polinkį užsiteršti (uždari bei atviri komedonai, miliumai), tačiau ši procedūra rekomenduojama visiems odos tipams, nepriklausomai nuo amžiaus.

Kontraindikacijos būtų tokios: odos ligos, labai jautri oda, uždegiminiai odos bėrimo elementai, odos vientisumo pažeidimai, gerybiniai ir piktybiniai odos navikai, trombozės ir embolijos rizika, aktyvi pūslelinės forma, po ilgalaikio saulės poveikio, po plaukų šalinimo procedūrų.

Norint pasiruošti šiai procedūrai, yra reikalingos šios priemonės: šilumą atspindinti plėvelė, vienkartinės šlepetės, vienkartinė kepuraitė, vienkartinės kelnaitės, 2 paklodės, didelis rankšluostis, vidutinio dydžio rankšluostis, aliejus, druska, eterinis aliejus (1 pav.).

Prieš ateinant klientui turime pasiruošti darbo vietą – pasikloti kušetę, ant jos padėti klientui reikalingas priemones (2 pav.). Atėjus klientui reikia išsiaiškinti jo lūkesčius, sveikos problemas, kontraindikacijas. Klientui reikia pateikti aiškius nurodymus, bei suteikti privatumo. Prieš atsigulant klientui ant kušetės, rekomenduojama jam sušilti duše.

Pirmiausia paprašome kliento atsigulti ant pilvo. Kad procedūros metu klientui būtų jaukiau ir šilčiau – jį užklojame. Prieš pradedant procedūrą, klientą atklojame ir atliekame įvadinį masažą (3 ir 4 pav.).

Dažniausiai šveisti pradedame nuo kojų. Atsidengiame tik tą kūno dalį, kurioje dirbsime. Kažką darant ar paimant, visada išlaikome kontaktą su klientu. Šveisti pradedame trumpais ir baigiame ilgais jungiamaisiais judesiais (5 ir 6 pav.).

III ŽINGSNIS

Po kojų pereiname prie nugaros, kaklo, bei pečių juostos.

Šviečiant taikome pagrindinius paviršinius masažo judesius: glostymą, trynimą (7 ir 8 pav.).

Nugaros šveitimo metu nušveičiame pečius, nugarinę rankų pusę ir delnus (9 ir 10 pav.).

Nušveitus nugaros pusę, klientas yra apverčiamas. Apsivertimą galima atlikti dviem būdais:

prilaikant paklodę iš viršaus ir laikant paklodę tarsi sieną tarp savęs ir kliento. Klientui apsivertus po galva padedame sulankstytą didelį rankšluostį (11 ir 12 pav.).

Priekinį kūno paviršių pradedame šveisti nuo kojų, nepamirštame pėdų (13 ir 14 pav.).

Krūtinės atsidengimas neturėtų sukelti diskomforto klientui. Prieš atidengiant pilvą, krūtinę pridengiame vidutinio rankšluosčiu. Pilvą šveičiame sukamaisiais judesiais, pagal laikrodžio rodyklę (15 ir 16 pav.).

Toliau šveisime pečius, rankų priekinius paviršius ir laštakas. Taip pat švelniai šveisime dekoltė – pora kartų perbrauksime ir pakaks (17 ir 18 pav.).

Baigus šveitimą būtinai klientą apauname vienkartinėmis šlepetėmis, kad klientas saugiau pasiektų dušą. Paklodę pakeičiame rankšluosčiu su kuriuo klientas eis iki dušo (19 pav.).

Pabaigoje procedūros atsargiai pasodiname klientą, vėliau palydime klientą į dušą. Po atliktos procedūros pasiteiraujame kaip klientas jaučiasi. Atsisveikiname iki kito karto.
